DPTS offer comprehensive NavMerge services - merging
navigation data in SEGP format with seismic data in SEGD or SEGY
format.
The key to successful navigation merging is rigorous verification
of the merged data. DPTS have developed various utilities
and methods to achieve this verification.
These include:
• A plot of the streamer(s)
configuration from the output seismic data compared with the same
plot from the navigation file to ensure they agree
•
A gun sync check - a plot of the near trace from the port streamer
for every starboard shot
• An LMO-corrected stack of the
near 10 traces for each streamer
