Well log services are provided using our Diplomat Wellman and Diplomat Logman software, together with our transcription and digital data recovery expertise, scanning capabilities and technical knowledge of well log data.

A typical well log data project can include any or all of the following processes:

• Database analysis

• Data selection and retrieval

• Identification and elimination of duplicates

• Scanning of logs, reports and other paper documents

• Data extraction from documents by OCR

• Read and recover digital data from tape

• Reformat from any well log format to industry standards

• Repair damaged files
  
• Overlay digital data on to scanned images of
paper logs

• Identify missing digital curve data

• Digitise well log curves

• Digitise depth, dip, azimuth and quality from tadpole plots

• Create composite logs for selected curves

• Output digital data in LIS or LAS format on any media

• Output scanned images in TIFF, JPEG or PDF format on any media

• Create or update indexes/databases

• Conversion of VSP data to SEGY.

All of these processes are subjected to the DPTS ISO 9001:2000 accredited QC procedures to ensure the accuracy of the final products.
