No knowledge of the input format is required for successful copying, however, Diplomat Copy includes an ‘intelligent’ copy feature for the common SEGY and SEGD formats. This allows us to correct errors which would otherwise be perpetuated if we were simply to do a bit to bit copy, and allows us to produce QC plots of the data to be viewed during copying or saved to a graphics file for later viewing.
