Diplomat™ Demux

Diplomat Demux is a fast program for demultiplexing seismic field data into trace sequential order. 

All known versions of standard SEG multiplexed formats can be converted to SEGY or SEGD formats. Diplomat Demux allows onscreen displays of the data to be viewed during demultiplexing for online quality control, and extracts index information from tape headers for updating databases and Databanks.

The program includes automatic format analysis and recognition of all known variations of SEGA, SEGB, SEGC and SEGD data, including Sercel variations, and non-SEG standard multiplexed formats.

SEGY and SEGD demultiplexed formats can also be read by Diplomat Demux for format conversion or for merging with navigation data

Vibroseis correlation can be carried out.

 

 

 

 

All common media devices may be used as input or output, including 9-track tape, 3480, 3490E, 3590, 3592, 4mm, 8mm, DLT, SuperDLT, LTO, DVD and USB disk. An audit trail is maintained of all files demultiplexed and any errors encountered.
