DIPLOMAT REFORMAT is an easy to use, fast and versatile program for
reformatting non-standard, trace-sequential, seismic data into SEG Y
format.
DIPLOMAT REFORMAT allows onscreen displays
of the data to be viewed during reformatting for online quality control,
and extracts index information from tape headers for updating databases
and Databanks.

Standard Features
- Automatic format analysis and recognition of various seismic
non-standard and proprietary formats
- Any SCSI interface device may be used for input or output
- for example 9-track tape drive, 3480, 3490E, 3590, LTO Ultrium, DLT
cartridge drives and Exabyte 8mm drive
- Batch mode or interactive operation
- Interactive operation allows full Operator control over
input and output devices for maximum recovery of data on
decaying and stiction tapes
- Option for intermediate output to disk to allow maximum
data recovery prior to writing to output cartridge
- Audit trail maintained of files reformatted and errors
encountered
- Onscreen plotting of selected records and/or traces (e.g.
near trace plot) after reformatting for online quality control
(can also be saved as TIFF files for subsequent viewing
or producing hard copy plots)
- Index information extracted from tape headers and index
files created for updating databases (e.g. Diplomat™
MultiStore) or Databanks
