LYNX GEODATA and DPTS have entered into a Joint Venture Agreement to provide tape transcription services to oil companies in Algeria.
The projects will be closely supervised by both parties. DPTS will provide tape transcription
software, hardware, training and technical support for LYNX GEODATA staff, and
LYNX GEODATA will provide qualified local personnel to operate the
transcription facility.
DPTS have almost 30 years experience of tape transcription and have transcribed
over one million tapes and cartridges during the past three years. Customers of
DPTS include numerous large and small oil companies as well as National Oil
Companies worldwide. The DPTS transcription services will be of benefit for
those companies who are successful in being awarded contracts by Sonatrach and
the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mines.
DPTS tape transcription technology and LYNX GEODATA qualified personnel
will both target customers requirement and expectations in the process of transcription
and will provide state of the art tape transcription services for the Oil &
Gas Industry in Algeria.
