HOUSTON, Texas &
LONDON, England – 2 December 2002 – Ovation Data Services, Inc. (Ovation) announced today
that it has completed the purchase of a majority interest in DPTS Limited (DPTS).
The new organisation will become the world’s leading data transcription
company and all customers will benefit from the combined years of experience of
the two companies. It will
strengthen the ability of both companies to provide continued high quality
services utilising state-of-the-art technologies as well as maintaining and
supporting the plethora of older technologies.
The DPTS service centre in Orpington will become the headquarters for
EAME and Asian operations and will continue to operate as DPTS Limited.
Alan Jepson will remain as Managing Director, Tony Miller will continue
as Production Director, and Gary Servos and Gregory Servos from Ovation Data
Services, Inc. will join the Board of Directors.
The Ovation transcription centre in Coulsdon will close down and all
staff and equipment will move to the DPTS Orpington centre. Steve Murphy will work with David Norburn as Sales Managers
for DPTS.
